Fertility Tests?

So I have been a sports model for a long time but I never actually got tested after my vasectomy. I am absolutely shooting blanks but it occurs to me that a test that shows I am sterile would maybe be a useful thing to have - like a negative std test. Does anyone know if there is an easier way to get this done than going through my doctor
